BarbaraK Harrison is a writer who also Teaches English to Speakers of Other Languages. She is a member of Western Maryland Writers Group and a contributing poet to 2013 Western Maryland Writers Anthology. She is also a member of the Frederick Writers Salon. Barbara read her poetry and participated in the 2013 global event, 100,000 Poets for Change. She is currently writing a memoir of poetry, essays and vignettes. Her passion and inspiration for poetry comes from a life rich in diversity and culture.

Robert Lee Frazier is a published author. He’s written stories, essays, and poems for publication for over ten years. Frazier also published a few sketches and some other artsy stuff. Carolynne Fitzpatrick is a former journalist, writing for The Baltimore Sun, The Carroll County Times, The Gazette (Mount Airy & Frederick, though both are now defunct), and Frederick magazine. She currently writes fiction, and a member of both the Frederick Writing Salong and the Western MD Writer's Meetup group.
ZSun-nee Matema writes about the journey of life both mystical and intensely physical. With a background in writing for newspapers, magazines, theater, cable and radio, Matema has created performance based workshops using spoken word to help with her transformative counseling work for women. She joined the Western Maryland Writers Group in 2015 and is honored to be published in the Anthology based on Washington County, MD.
